Supplier Quality Technician

The Supplier Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased components, providing support to NHa’s procurement, project, and logistics activities, and contributing to project schedule compliance.

1 Activities description

1. Supplier quality monitoring and management

  • Analyze and evaluate the conformity of products delivered by suppliers against technical specifications (file analysis, PPAP equivalent, compliance matrix).
  • Assist supplier quality engineers in preparing quality audits at suppliers (system, product, or process audits).
  • If necessary, perform incoming inspection of received supplier parts (documentary, dimensional, visual, etc.)

2. Supplier non-conformity management

  • Identify, analyze, and track the resolution of supplier non-conformities detected during incoming inspection or in production.
  • Participate in setting up and monitoring performance tools and KPIs related to suppliers, and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of performance tools and KPIs related to suppliers as well as continuous improvement actions.

3. Technical support and assistance (in support of supplier quality engineers)

  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, methods, R&D) to ensure optimal integration of supplier products.
  • Participate in new supplier or new product qualification projects.
  • Participate in updating compliance matrices following CCB modifications.

2 Internal / external working relationships

  • Reports to NHa’s Procurement & Logistics Manager.
  • NHa internal departments related to the role: supplier quality, procurement, logistics, Project Manager, Experts, Engineering, Production & Installation, Finance.
  • Suppliers (French-speaking and English-speaking).

3 Specific professional knowledge

  • Minimum Bac +2 (BTS or equivalent) in quality, mechanics, electrical engineering, or any other relevant technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality, production, incoming inspection, etc.
  • Knowledge of quality principles and tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 whys, etc.)
  • Reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (and ideally ISO 13485).
  • Ability to work in a team, priority management, high autonomy, rigor, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (suppliers, internal customers, etc.).
  • Good listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills; synthesis mindset; good stress management.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, ERP).
  • Technical English.
