Our Booth at the Heart of PTCOG 64

At PTCOG 64 in Deauville, our booth was much more than an exhibition space—it embodied our vision and ambition for the future of hadron therapy.

For this edition, we took on the challenge of bringing the centerpiece of our project, the C400 IONS cyclotron, to life at full scale. This immersive installation enabled visitors to experience our technology firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of the Normandy Hadrontherapy project.

Throughout the congress, we were delighted to welcome visitors inside this life-size cyclotron, both during our presentations and in one-on-one discussions with our team. These exchanges provided an opportunity to answer questions, share our expertise, and discuss the challenges, milestones, and future prospects of our project.

Thanks to these moments of dialogue and interaction, our booth became far more than an exhibition space—it became a vibrant meeting place where ideas, expertise, and ambitions were shared, truly reflecting the collaborative spirit that drives the Normandy Hadrontherapy project.

Looking Back at Our Lunch Symposium at PTCOG 64 in Deauville

As part of PTCOG 64, we were pleased to host a lunch symposium dedicated to the Normandy Hadrontherapy project and its ongoing development.

This scientific session provided a valuable opportunity to share our vision, highlight the progress we have made, and discuss the future of hadron therapy in Normandy.

We were honored to welcome three key contributors who play an active role in advancing this project every day:

• Virgile Letellier, Medical Physicist at Normandy Hadrontherapy
• Jefferson Sorriaux, Co-Director of Normandy Hadrontherapy
• Gabriel Gaubert, Director of CYCLHAD, our first treatment center

Their presentations offered complementary insights into the clinical, scientific, and organizational challenges involved in developing our activities, while also showcasing the experience and expertise already gained at CYCLHAD.

The symposium also provided an excellent opportunity for engaging discussions with participants in a welcoming and interactive setting, fostering meaningful exchanges on the future of hadron therapy.

Looking Back at the CYCLHAD Site Visit During PTCOG 64 in Deauville

Following PTCOG 64, we were delighted to open the doors of CYCLHAD and welcome participants for an immersive tour of our facilities.

This visit offered a unique opportunity to showcase the C400 IONS cyclotron and our treatment room through a series of illustrations, providing a clear and accessible understanding of our equipment and how it operates.

The experience was further enhanced by a carefully designed lighting installation, which brought the construction site to life and guided visitors throughout each stage of the tour.

Combining technical discovery with a visually engaging experience, this immersive visit enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of the environment in which the Normandy Hadrontherapy project is taking shape and advancing every day.
